Sustainable land management (SLM) is "the use of land resources, including soils, water, animals and plants, for the production of goods to meet changing human needs, while simultaneously ensuring the long-term productive potential of these resources and the maintenance of their environmental functions" (UN Earth Summit, 1992).
The resources provided in this section include an overview of current discussions, events, and information on SLM. Collaboration and contributions to this theme are welcome. Please visit the About page for more information on making information available in this section.
