Developing long term relations with potential employers

  • The specialists of the leshozes and the timber processing enterprises participated in development of the curricula and training programmers.
  • The representatives of the employers are involved in the work of the examination commissions at the time of the exams held in the relevant vocational schools after completion of each module.
  • The students have their practical training at the relevant profile enterprises.

Training of teachers and masters in didactics and methodology

Teachers and masters were trained in interactive teaching methods. They can use these methods to develop qualities which will help students to be a successful entrepreneur or worker.
1) Theoretical training
Once a year a seminar has been organized paying attention to the idea behind interactive teaching methods, what are interactive teaching methods and how to use them in the classroom?

2) Individual and group supervision Twice a year didactic lessons were prepared, given and discussed together with the master or teacher. Twice a year teaching methods were discussed at the school. Exchange programs were organized, to give masters and teachers the opportunity to share experiences and widen their knowledge.

Participation and linkages

Following the KIRFOR principle of participation and integration, representatives of the most important stakeholders participated in the different events organise by the project, gaining in mutual understanding and becoming a better overview over the whole forest sector, its strengths and weaknesses. Again the triangulation Sciences, Education and Praxis was put in front of the scene.
